The years 2024 and 2025 marked the culmination of the commitment shown by Royal College athletes and the strategic expertise of their coaching staff, resulting in the formation of two exceptional water polo teams at Reid Avenue and securing the Haymens Cup for two consecutive years. Royal produced a superb all-round performance to outclass S.Thomas College and retain the pretigeous Dr R.L Hayman Trophy with a commanding aggregate victory of 38-19, following a 20-10 win in the second leg at the Sugathadasa Swimming Pool complex.
ORAUK has consistently supported the Water Polo program at Royal College, providing essential financial assistance for the boys to excel in the sport.
